The Moonstone Geode

Moonstone is one of my favorite stones, and it is the inspiration behind this piece. A moonstone geode is purely a thing of my imagination, however lots of real tumbled moonstone and clear quartz were used to make this magnificent piece. Additionally, a color-shifting interference blue pigment was used to mimic the beautiful effects of real moonstone, which you can see much better in person rather than in photos, as you move around the piece, allowing the light to hit it fron different angles. 

Made on hand-cut repurposed wood and installed in a handmade shadowbox frame. 

In the center of this piece is a sparkly druzy center made from German glass glitter. 

  Moonstone has feminine energy and is thought to enhance intuition and emotional balance, and clear quartz amplifies those qualities in additon to adding mental clarity. 

This piece is signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity. The back is finished with D-ring hooks and plastic coated wire, along with wall bumpers for a finished look.Measurements: 29.5"w x 25"h x 1.5"d
