I moved to the greater Austin area 9+ years ago and it has been a truly transformative journey, especially with regards to my art.

I have been an artist since very early childhood, picking up a pen and drawing at age three, and then attending Saturday art classes at the Columbus College of Art and Design on kid scholarships for several years in elementary school.

I continued experimenting with many different mediums and styles throughout the rest of my school years and early life, with a heavy emphasis on cartooning and graffiti into my early 20's, and then I stepped away from all creative endeavors for several years while raising small children, that is until I discovered resin as an art form about 10 years ago, which rekindled my creative spirit. I have been a resin and mixed media artist now for several years but only in the last couple years have I gotten very serious about my work. I feel that my process for creating impressions of geodes and agate slices is similar to how they form in nature- very slowly over the course of centuries and millennium, layer by layer, they gradually take form...just like my works which I create one deliberate step after the other, layer by layer over the span of days, weeks, and sometimes months, until it's finally finished.

I have been working slowly and diligently to create a body of work that I am proud to release into the wild, and I hope to take my art to higher levels as I continue evolving as an artist. I hope that the passion and love that I have for my work can be seen in the attention to detail that I give to each and every piece that I create!
