I remember it well...I was on vacation with distant family in Encinitas, California, and we went to this amazing little gem of a shop called "Made In Earth," which is a natural stone jeweler, and their location also has an array of larger agate slices and geodes on display in the gallery. My family members know and love this place for the jewelry, so while they tried on many different pieces, I was simply staring in awe at the magnificent natural beauty of the sparkly agate and geode formations. I was enrapt by their imperfect beauty, the way they glistened and sparkled in the light was captivating. The colors and the delicate agate lines, I just couldn't take my eyes away, I was totally in love with them!

I don't even think my family realized the moment I was having there, staring at the geodes through the gallery glass. 

It wasn't long after this vacation that I was perusing the internet and came across German-based resin artist Mrs. Colorberry and her fantastic resin geode creations. I immediately knew I had to try this fascinating new art myself, already having resin experience with making my own framed art, and covering the surface in resin rather than glass. 

This was the beginning of my geode resin art creations. Looking back on my first geode creations, I see just how far my work has come! I hope to keep evolving and elevating my work to higher and higher levels. I have so many ideas floating around in my head space that I want to bring to life!
