When I first moved to Texas 10 years ago, I had already embarked on my yoga journey, which began shortly after my husband passed away in 2014. I was determined not to drown in my sadness, and so I sought healing and solace by going down a yoga rabbithole, taking in as much information as possible, participating in three yoga trainings and even taking a few academic courses at University to get a well-rounded spiritual education.

During my instruction, my yoga teachers liked to incorporate crystals into our practice, along with singing bowls and burning palo santo. I found great solace in these rituals as they calmed and centered my mind and allowed me to harness my mental energy into a desired intention for my practice and also in my daily life.

I learned so much about myself and my place in the universe from my formal education and my trainings and most importantly, from my life experiences. I realized that our challenges are actually a blessing, because growth cannot occur without resistance. I learned that I am made up of pure energy, and by raising my vibration to a higher frequency, I can attract what I desire into my life. I learned that by aligning myself with the Truth, and relentlessly seeking the truth, the universe will support my dreams, wishes, and goals.

Most importantly I learned that we are all fundamentally, inextricably interconnected, and so your successes are my successes, your happiness is my happiness. So I want to share my energy with you, through my art and my crystals <3

I take great care in preparing my crystals by cleansing them and charging them before creating art with them. Sometimes I will use Texas rainwater that I collect in my backyard rain barrels, sometimes I will set them out in the Texas sun on a selenite plate, or under a the light of big, bright, full moon. Then I will infuse my crystal babies with a loving intention as I hold them in my hands close to my heart. Other times I will play my heart chakra singing bowl to give them a gentle cleansing. Just know that each and every crystal baby has been lovingly cleansed and charged for your artwork with the utmost loving care and attention <3 <3 <3 :)
